The Big Time: F Scott Fitzgerald—a staged essay with music. September 18 at 8:00 p.m. at the Fitzgerald.

To celebrate the Fitzgerald Theater’s Centennial, Minnesota Public Radio has invited Patricia Hampl to write and perform one of her staged essays with music provided by Dan Chouinard and friends. This is the fourth collaboration between Hampl and Chouinard on the Fitz stage. The theater, originally a Shubert Theater that brought vaudeville shows to St Paul and then was turned into a first-run movie theater called The World, is now the home of A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION and host to many visiting performers and literary events. Join us for a sparkling evening.
